Terms & Conditions (SMS/Text Messaging)
Commonwealth Unity PAC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) offers recurring automated informational text messages (e.g., SMS and MMS), including messages that may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system, to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate.
All message programs and any different types of messages you may receive—such as campaign updates, event invitations, voting reminders, and other informational communications—shall be known collectively as the “Programs.”
Consent to receive automated text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Message Frequency
Message frequency may vary.
Commonwealth Unity PAC reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time in order to increase or decrease the total number of messages sent. We also reserve the right to change the phone number or short code from which messages are sent.
Not all mobile devices or handsets may be supported, and our messages may not be deliverable in all areas.
Commonwealth Unity PAC, our service providers, and the mobile carriers supported by the Programs are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Cancellation / Opting Out
If you do not wish to continue participating in any Program or no longer agree to these Terms, you agree to reply to any mobile message received from a Program with one of the following keywords to opt out at any time:
STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT
You may receive an additional message confirming your decision to opt out.
You understand and agree that the options above are the only reasonable and exclusive methods of opting out.
You also understand and agree that any other method of opting out—including, but not limited to, texting words or phrases other than those set forth above or verbally requesting removal—is not a reasonable means of opting out.
You may be subscribed to multiple Programs, and therefore you must separately opt out from each number or short code from which you wish to unsubscribe.

Please note: texting “HELP” or emailing us is not an acceptable method of opting out. Opt-outs must be submitted in accordance with the procedures above.
Disclaimer of Warranty
The Programs are offered on an “as-is” basis and may not be available in all areas at all times. Programs may not continue to work in the event of product, software, coverage, or other changes made by your wireless carrier.
We are not liable for any delays or failures in the receipt of mobile messages connected with any Program. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your wireless service provider and is outside of our control.
We are not liable for delayed or undelivered mobile messages.
Text Messaging Opt-In Data
We will not share or sell your text messaging opt-in data, consent, or related personal information with any third parties, unless required by law.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. We will only use information you provide to transmit mobile messages and respond to you if necessary.
This may include sharing information with service providers, phone carriers, and vendors who assist in delivering the Programs.
Except as set forth in this section, we do not sell, rent, loan, trade, lease, or otherwise transfer for profit any phone numbers or customer information collected through these Programs to any third party.
We reserve the right to disclose information as necessary to:
- comply with any law, regulation, or governmental request
- avoid legal liability
- protect our rights or property
When you complete forms online or otherwise provide us information in connection with a Program, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and true information.
If we believe that any information is untrue, inaccurate, or incomplete—or that you opted into a Program for an improper purpose—we may refuse you access to the Programs and pursue any appropriate legal remedies.
Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply strictly to the Programs described above and do not modify or override any other policies that may apply to your relationship with Commonwealth Unity PAC in other contexts.
